About This Role
- Operate and monitor mainframe batch processing, job scheduling (OPC/TWS), file transfers (NDM/Connect: Direct), and datasets across Production, QA, and Test environments.
- Analyze and troubleshoot JCL abends, coordinate batch job recovery and restarts, and manage incident/problem tickets through ITSM systems.
- Support system maintenance activities including weekend IPLs, customer escalations, and enact break-glass procedures for emergency production access.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of Mainframe Production Support experience including batch operations, job scheduling, file transfer, and dataset management.
- Proficient in JCL troubleshooting, OPC/TWS job scheduling, NDM/Connect: Direct file transfers, and management of VSAM, GDG, BIOS, and TIF datasets.
- Experience with PDX deployments, incident/problem management via ITSM ticket systems, and system IPL support.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years in Mainframe Production Support.

- Skilled in collaboration with development, storage, infrastructure teams to resolve production issues and manage escalations.
- Comfortable working in a multi-vendor, cross-functional environment with responsibilities spanning multiple regions (Production, QA, Test).
