About This Role
- Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end backup and recovery services on Rubrik CDM platform across hybrid environments including Azure cloud, on-premise, and manufacturing Edge sites.
- Operate and manage Rubrik clusters, appliances, and Rubrik Security Cloud ensuring backup integrity, replication, recovery and compliance aligned with ransomware resilience and regulatory requirements.
- Configure monitoring, incident escalation, and collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to maintain business continuity and backup strategy alignment.
Minimum Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with minimum 5+ years in backup and recovery engineering.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Rubrik Cloud Data Management platform and Azure infrastructure/cloud backup solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with VMware VCF, enterprise data protection strategies, disaster recovery planning, and ability to manage hybrid cloud/on-prem backup environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex hybrid backup architectures spanning cloud, on-premise, and edge manufacturing sites.
- Skilled at integrating backup with enterprise infrastructure platforms (VMware, Windows/Linux servers, databases, Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
- Practiced in operating within global multi-site environments, implementing ransomware resilience strategies, and supporting audit/compliance requirements.
