About This Role
- Own and deliver the quarterly close process, supporting controller on accounting policies, financial reporting, and data validation for group reporting.
- Support financial due diligence, internal controls assurance, and accuracy of actuals; manage stakeholder relationships and support audits.
- Conduct variance and financial analysis, manage recharge models per transfer pricing policies, and use tools like Power BI for reporting and dashboarding.
Minimum Requirements
- Educational Qualification: ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Work Experience Required: 4-8 years of relevant post-degree experience, including financial reporting.
- Mandatory Skills: Strong accounting knowledge including IFRS, experience with SAP and Microsoft products, knowledge of financial controls, planning and commercial processes.
- Location or Travel: Hybrid office/remote, negligible travel; role not eligible for relocation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in global, complex matrix organizations, preferably Oil & Gas sector, with exposure to financial control and reporting processes.
- Proven ability to work independently with ownership of delivery and strong communication skills to engage collaborators clearly.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement principles, financial systems, and digital reporting tools like Power BI to enhance financial analytics and controls.
