About This Role
- Own enhancements of Continuous Integration pipelines and workflows to improve software quality and stability for Optical Networks software releases.
- Implement and maintain automation solutions to increase speed, reliability, and scalability across development environments.
- Collaborate globally with engineering and infrastructure teams in Agile settings to optimize DevOps tools and processes, driving faster and predictable product releases.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in software or tools development, preferably in Continuous Integration environments.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Python, and Go/Yocto build environments.
- Experience working effectively in Agile teams and building/maintaining development automation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in large-scale, complex software development with strong DevOps fundamentals and automation expertise.
- Comfortable integrating multiple industry technologies including Jenkins, Git, Google Repo, and Gerrit within Agile, cross-geography teams.
- Capable of applying data-driven methods to optimize CI/CD workflows, improving quality, speed, and stability of software releases.
