About This Role
- Lead end-to-end testing of distributed microservices-based applications to ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure software delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks; integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for functionality, performance, and scalability validation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, document, and resolve defects; contribute to test planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 4–7 years hands-on experience testing distributed, microservices-based applications including test strategy, design, execution, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Python) and API testing for RESTful services.
- Must be available to work onsite 4 days a week as per company policy.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and maintaining automation solutions specifically for backend services and end-to-end integration testing in microservices environments.
- Familiar with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, with ability to validate deployments and scalability.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative settings involving DevOps, development, and testing teams, with strong expertise in CI/CD integration and test management tools.
