About This Role
- Own end-to-end delivery of data products supporting commodity trading, supply chain, and commercial decision-making.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, analytical datasets, and automated quality checks using SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable business insights and scalable solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 9 years of professional work experience.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills including joins, aggregation, window functions, and query troubleshooting.
- Practical Python skills for data transformation, automation, and integration.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses/lakehouses, data modelling, Git, code review, automated testing, and repeatable delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in partnering directly with data engineers and business users to build and operate reliable data products.
- Capable of profiling unfamiliar data sources, resolving anomalies, and aligning data outputs with business definitions.
- Comfortable working across trading, market analysis, supply chain, and risk domains, taking ownership from discovery through production and ongoing improvement.
