About This Role
- Own end-to-end technical solution architecture and delivery for data solutions on Azure cloud, including design, development, and implementation.
- Lead and coach development teams, manage projects of 1-2 small teams, and ensure adherence to architecture standards and software development best practices.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and solutions with SQL/ETL code development.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years total work experience.
- Strong technical skills in Database (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Azure SQL), Data Warehousing (Synapse Analytics, Snowflake), ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks), and cloud platform Azure.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, UNIX shell scripting, code/version control tools (SVN, GIT), and project/resource management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field; Professional certification in Azure Data Engineer or similar.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical architect with strong engineering and development expertise capable of both designing and building complex data solutions on cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
- Comfortable working overlapping US-India hours for collaboration and capable of leading small delivery teams and managing multiple project stakeholders.
- Skilled at translating business requirements to technical solutions and maintaining governance over solution delivery and architecture compliance.
