About This Role
- Own the technical design and delivery of middleware capabilities integrating legacy platforms, GCP cloud services, and SAP S/4HANA within the DYNAMO project.
- Lead and provide technical oversight to supplier engineering teams in delivering Java/Spring Boot microservices on GCP Cloud Run, ensuring scalability, security, and operational readiness.
- Architect and develop cloud-native REST APIs and middleware applications, implementing resilient integrations with strong production readiness and monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience using Java, including 5+ years with Spring Boot.
- 3+ years experience designing and implementing cloud-native REST APIs and using Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Monitoring.
- Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee), Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and production support/incident management practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading technical delivery and providing oversight across multiple engineering teams including external suppliers in middleware and integration solutions.
- Strong background in designing secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise system integrations involving SAP S/4HANA and legacy system modernization.
- Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, GCP cloud-native development, and API management combined with practical knowledge of operational excellence and AI-assisted engineering tools.
