About This Role
- Design and develop software components and new system components based on engineering specifications and clinical needs.
- Lead code reviews and apply design principles, coding standards, and best practices in software development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to ensure project and regulatory success.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with software development lifecycle processes and regulatory compliance in medical device software development.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to independently handle complex software engineering problems and produce compliant technical documentation (Design History Files).
- Experience with integrated development environments and software tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, and code coverage.
- Familiarity with Agile product development environments and knowledge of AI/ML technologies, cloud services (Azure AI, Azure ML), and DevOps practices as applied to healthcare or medical device domains.
