About This Role
- Lead design and delivery of full-stack software for investment research, including setting technical direction and hands-on development.
- Own architecture for cloud-ready, event-driven microservices and integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and reuse.
- Drive engineering excellence through code quality, CI/CD, DevOps practices, incident resolution, and mentoring engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years experience in production-grade Java (Spring Boot) and Python development with senior technical leadership roles.
- Experience building cloud-ready, event-driven microservices (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and RESTful APIs at scale.
- Strong skills with SQL and NoSQL databases; hands-on CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes); secure coding practices using analysis tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven technical leader able to set architecture direction and mentor multiple engineers on complex initiatives.
- Experienced in hybrid on-premises and cloud integration in financial or regulated environments, especially with financial datasets.
- Able to balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture evolution and lead cross-team technical initiatives.
