About This Role
- Own quality assurance for assigned cloud communications and frontend platform products and features, ensuring high reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, execute automated and manual testing including API, functional, regression, and performance tests.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive continuous improvements in QA processes, automation frameworks, and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including testing complex web, cloud, VoIP, or communications applications.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress and programming/scripting skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
- Experience testing REST APIs with tools such as Postman or Swagger and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in comprehensive testing within Agile/Scrum environments, capable of handling full lifecycle QA including functional, integration, system, API, and performance testing.
- Strong background with cloud communication technologies (UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP, SIP, WebRTC) and modern automated testing frameworks.
- Capable mentor who can lead junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices in cross-functional team settings.
