About This Role
- Own technical design and delivery of middleware solutions for the DYNAMO project integrating legacy systems, GCP services, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Lead and provide technical oversight to supplier engineering teams developing Java/Spring Boot microservices deployed on GCP Cloud Run ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and operational readiness.
- Architect and develop cloud-native APIs and integrations including Apigee API Management, ensure compliance with enterprise security and standards, and engineer for high reliability and monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years software engineering experience using Java; 5+ years hands-on Spring Boot experience; 3+ years designing and implementing cloud-native REST APIs.
- 3+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, Cloud Monitoring) or equivalent cloud platform experience.
- Experience providing technical leadership across engineering teams, designing secure, scalable enterprise integrations, and managing API platforms like Apigee.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to lead middleware delivery in complex environments integrating legacy mainframe, SAP S/4HANA, and cloud platforms with cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical design and hands-on coding skills in Java, Spring Boot, cloud-native API development, GCP services, and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Experienced in enforcing engineering best practices including TDD, CI/CD, automated testing, and mentoring teams on integration architecture and operational excellence.
