About This Role
- Manage sourcing and vendor relationships for Mechanical and Electrical proprietary components including O-Rings, Wiring Harnesses, Alternators, Bearings, Filters, etc.
- Lead costing activities such as tooling/capex estimation and supplier capacity evaluation for new projects, including RFQ and technical/pricing negotiations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and quality assurance teams to improve quality, manage supplier performance, and oversee sample approvals and process validations (APQP/PPAP).
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of relevant commodity sourcing experience.
- B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Industry preference: Automotive sector.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 6 years in relevant commodity sourcing in mechanical/electrical components.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically proficient in manufacturing processes of specified mechanical and electrical components.
- Experienced in vendor management including negotiation, costing, and quality coordination with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong global business perspective with skills in project coordination and supplier relationship management.
