About This Role
- Manage end-to-end tooling and equipment sourcing for Whirlpool India's factory location, including supplier finalization, commercial closure, and tool delivery.
- Support long-term capacity planning and manage injection molding space for new projects and business continuity.
- Ensure tooling data governance, internal audit compliance, and collaborate with suppliers and plant PM teams to meet project timelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or equivalent (CIPET/NTTF/GTTC).
- 6 to 9 years of experience in development and handling of plastic, sheet metal, die casting tooling & equipment procurement, especially capital purchase.
- Experience in home appliance, consumer goods, automotive industry, or injection molding preferred but not mandatory.
- Work Experience Required: 6 to 9 years specifically in tooling and equipment development and procurement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in tooling development with strong technical knowledge in plastic and metal tooling and capital equipment.
- Skilled in negotiation and commercial closure aligned with tooling & equipment sourcing strategy.
- Capable of navigating interdisciplinary, global matrix environments with good analytical and prioritization skills.
