About This Role
- Own end-to-end design, development, and deployment of backend modules and features in a multi-tier distributed server application.
- Ensure performance, stability, and scalability of all server-side functions, collaborating closely with Tech, Design, and QA teams.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency and product quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-6 years of professional software development experience.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering from IITs or top RECs preferred.
- Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres), MongoDB, web services, and performance optimization tools (Instruments, Shark).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in e-business or e-commerce application development, preferably with exposure to internet companies or travel industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and architect scalable backend systems with strong focus on performance and availability.
- Comfortable working hands-on in an informal startup-like environment with a mix of technical leadership and team collaboration.
