About This Role
- Design, develop, implement, and support secure, scalable enterprise integration solutions including EDI, APIs, middleware, and automation.
- Own complex integration projects from requirements through deployment and post-production support, ensuring high quality, performance, and operational resilience.
- Lead technical design reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and promote engineering standards and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years professional experience in software development, application integration, API development, or related middleware engineering.
- Strong expertise in EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), REST API design and development, middleware technologies, and integration platforms (e.g., webMethods, IBM Sterling, MuleSoft).
- Experience with production support, incident management, CI/CD, source control, automated testing, and secure development practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced as an individual contributor capable of leading design and delivery of complex, enterprise-scale integration solutions.
- Strong technical ownership demonstrated via mentoring, code reviews, operational support, and cross-team collaboration in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with modern API management, microservices, event-driven architecture, and AI-assisted software engineering tools, with a background in logistics, supply chain or related domains preferred.
