About This Role
- Design, build, and own backend services focused on reliability, data consistency, and performance for a travel accommodation platform.
- Lead technical design, delivery, and architecture within the team and across multiple teams including cross-team integrations and major platform initiatives.
- Drive engineering standards, technical roadmaps, and collaborate closely with Product, QA, Data, and partner-facing teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-8+ years of backend development experience, including design of distributed systems at scale.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science/Information Technology.
- Proficiency with RDBMS/NoSQL, caching (Redis, Memcached), Elasticsearch, event-driven architecture (Kafka or RabbitMQ), Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD, TDD, Git Flow, production troubleshooting using observability tools; proven leadership in architecture decisions and large-scale migrations.
