About This Role
- Define and lead AI engineering strategy, architecture, and reusable capabilities for enterprise-scale AI solutions across Lonza.
- Lead delivery of complex AI products including Generative AI and Machine Learning, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant implementations in production.
- Establish AI lifecycle standards and embed responsible AI principles, operational controls, and governance suitable for regulated environments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Extensive experience leading AI Engineering, ML, Data Science, or Advanced Analytics teams in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, MLOps, AI Platforms, and AI solution architecture.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise AI solutions from concept through production and operationalization.

- Experienced leader capable of building and scaling global AI engineering and data science teams with clear capability frameworks.
- Technical strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in enterprise AI governance, compliance, and regulated life sciences or healthcare settings.
