About This Role
- Lead design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and integration solutions using Snowflake, Azure data services, and modern tools like Kafka and Airflow.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, enforcing best practices, and driving adoption of emerging technologies and data governance to ensure compliance and data quality.
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical designs, manage production reliability, DevOps processes including CI/CD and IaC, and contribute to data platform modernization strategy.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering with strong skills in ETL/ELT, SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark.
- 7+ years of solid Snowflake expertise including data modeling and performance tuning.
- 4+ years experience with Azure data ecosystem (ADF, Synapse, ADLS, Purview) and 2+ years in DevOps (CI/CD, Git, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced data engineering senior professional with deep expertise in Snowflake and Azure cloud platforms, capable of leading complex technical discussions and architectural decisions.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, drive technical best practices, and handle production operations including incident management and root cause analysis.
- Strategic thinker with experience in data governance, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR), and building AI-powered solutions using low-code/no-code platforms integrated into enterprise data ecosystems.
