About This Role
- Analyze and document requirements for Regulatory Reporting and Financial Control initiatives, including BRD and FRD preparation.
- Collaborate with regulatory report owners to translate regulations into data sourcing and development specifications.
- Perform gap analysis on data, systems, and processes, validate results before UAT, identify and resolve data issues, and communicate project status to leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or project management.
- Experience in US or foreign banking organizations focusing on regulatory reporting and financial products in banking/capital markets/investment banking.
- Strong documentation skills for Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, and Interface Specifications.
- Intermediate SQL skills for querying and data analysis; proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with regulatory reporting in banking or capital markets environments, especially in commercial banks, broker dealers, or bank holding companies.
- Ability to lead root cause analysis on process, capability, and data issues with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid mode from Bangalore with effective communication to diverse teams and leadership.
