About This Role
- Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise-wide protections for email, data, and endpoint platforms including Microsoft Defender solutions.
- Analyze threat trends, security telemetry, and control performance to enhance protection strategies and incident detection/response capabilities.
- Develop and maintain technical standards, reference architectures, and playbooks; collaborate closely with security and IT teams to embed protection in daily operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Experience with incident response and ability to work weekends/off-shift hours during incidents.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure; excellent communication skills to manage joint response and influence stakeholders.
- Work Environment: Hybrid (on-site and remote); ability to work in temperature-controlled offices and occasional exposure to harsh environmental conditions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with enterprise security tools such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, and cloud security controls.
- Strong understanding of modern threat landscapes, attack techniques, and defense strategies with demonstrated ability to improve security operations.
- Self-driven with effective project management and time management skills to deliver results independently in a fast-paced security environment.
