Data Lab Assistant

Plan, organise, and conduct extensive image data acquisition projects on Smiths Detection X-ray systems at local, lab, and global customer sites.

Prepare and ensure operational readiness of X-ray hardware and software, conduct experiments including software functionality and detection performance tests, and document results.

Coordinate post-processing of image data including labelling and annotation, ensure data quality, manage structured data storage, and improve related processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with technical handling of X-ray systems is desirable but not mandatory.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Linux command-line environments required.
