Senior Software Engineer (Search and Match)

Lead development of scalable and novel data systems integrating machine learning for enhanced search and match features.

Apply predictive modelling, NLP, and statistical analysis on user data to deliver insights for product development.

Collaborate with product and development teams to research, model, and deploy data-driven search quality improvements including LLM/RAG techniques.

4.5+ years of experience as Senior Software Engineer in Search & Match or relevant domain.

Expert Python programming skills.

Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms (regression, clustering, neural networks, deep learning).

Experience with search technologies (Solr, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch), embedding/vector search, and LLM/RAG for semantic retrieval and reranker design.

Experienced in building scalable microservices architectures supporting high transaction volumes.

Skilled in integrating backend technologies (Flask, Gunicorn) with ML pipelines using open source NLP and deep learning libraries (Spacy, NLTK, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Able to optimize search quality through prompt engineering frameworks like LangChain or Crewai and feature selection techniques.
