Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer - Remote

Own and improve production machine learning models for churn, retention, and account segmentation using customer data.

Evaluate model predictions over time with fixed test sets and automate quality monitoring to preempt issues.

Investigate individual prediction errors, explain findings to non-ML stakeholders, and ship improvements in the Go product codebase.

5+ years of applied ML experience with structured business data in production, particularly in churn, retention, or segmentation models.

Strong mathematics and statistics foundation from a rigorous program; IIT or similarly strong program preferred.

Strong SQL and engineering skills to ship production code changes, including working knowledge of Go; Python allowed only for analysis.

Currently working at a product-based organization is mandatory.

Experienced in handling messy CRM and product usage data for business-critical ML models.

Able to independently solve ambiguous problems through investigation, testing, and implementation, owning end-to-end prediction quality.

Comfortable explaining technical model issues and prediction errors clearly to business users without ML backgrounds.
