Software Engineer, Backend

Build robust and scalable web-based backend applications with clear module abstraction and high-level design.

Drive execution of medium-sized projects by collaborating with product managers and stakeholders, tracking and iterating on delivered features.

Mentor junior team members and break down execution phases to improve predictability and team delivery.

3-5 years of professional software engineering experience specifically in coding and solving large-scale problems.

Strong programming skills in at least one general-purpose language (e.g., Java, C, C++), including multithreading and concurrency.

BTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).

Experience with Linux-based full life cycle development and knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, HBase, Elasticsearch, Aerospike).

Has experience designing scalable business applications involving complex business flows and large data volumes.

Demonstrates strong object-oriented design skills, familiarity with design patterns, and ability to create intuitive module and class-level interfaces.

Thrives in startup-like environments requiring high ownership and commitment to solve complex, real-world problems.
