Software Asset Analyst III

Owns technical authority for Corporate License Hosting server operations including daemon recovery and license file editing, ensuring 24x5 coverage with resolution within 4-hour SLA.

Constructs and defends Initial and Final Licence Positions by reconciling entitlement against deployment and usage evidence, resolving complex entitlement issues, and validating contract data accuracy.

Leads high-risk EULA and clickwrap gating, manages publisher and reseller escalations, drives automation improvements for repeat tasks, and sets technical standards for junior analysts during shifts.

6–10+ years' experience in software asset management or software licensing operations as a senior technical escalation point.

Hands-on experience with floating-license servers such as FlexNet including configuration file editing, daemon troubleshooting, and usage metrics analysis.

Proven expertise in licence-position work: reconciling entitlement with usage and defending results to publishers or auditors.

Willingness to work fixed or rotating non-standard shifts including NAMER window (22:00–06:00 IST).

Experienced technical lead comfortable owning end-to-end licence hosting and license position accuracy within a shift-based environment.

Deep understanding of complex software license and entitlement issues with ability to adjudicate compliance and legal risk in EULA and clickwrap agreements.

Capable of coaching junior analysts and driving continuous improvement through automation and updated standard operating procedures.
