Oversee and ensure compliant, efficient, and cost-effective international movement of goods according to trade laws and regulations.
Manage product classification (HTS, ECCN), import/export licensing, trade compliance policies, and risk mitigation strategies globally.
Collaborate with internal teams and external authorities to maintain customs compliance, manage customs duties, and handle audits and investigations.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biotechnology, International Business, or equivalent trade compliance experience.
Minimum 4+ years relevant experience in trade compliance or related field.
Proficiency with SAP GTS or other Trade ERP systems for compliance operations.
Work Experience Required: 4+ years relevant experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in customs classification, export controls (EAR, ITAR, NRC, EU & AP), sanctions, and global trade compliance programs.
Skilled at cross-functional collaboration with legal, audit, logistics, and supply chain to ensure compliance and continuous process improvement.
Detail-oriented individual capable of managing complex compliance processes, documentation, and audit representation.
