Design, develop, and operationalize large-scale data transformation and migration solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Lead effort estimation, design review, testing, deployment, and performance tuning of ETL jobs in a cloud data engineering environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders and data engineering teams to migrate legacy ETL processes to GCP native services ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
5+ years of Cloud experience, preferably with GCP, including production-scale solutions.
Bachelor's degree in BE/BTech in CS/IT or relevant domain.
Proven experience with ETL tools such as IBM DataStage or equivalent cloud ETL platforms and proficiency with SQL, Python, or Java.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated ability to lead cloud data migration projects, especially Mainframe to GCP.
Strong knowledge of GCP data services (BigQuery, Data Flow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Airflow) and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
Experience working in agile environments with strong operational focus on troubleshooting, job scheduling, and performance tuning of data pipelines.
