About This Role

Lead design and modernization of big data solutions and data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for production-scale deployments.

Manage migration of ETL jobs to GCP native services including development, testing, deployment, and performance tuning.

Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve production issues during migration and operation.

Minimum Requirements

8+ years of Data Engineering experience.

5+ years of Cloud experience, specifically with GCP preferred, involving production-scale solutions.

Bachelor's degree in BE/BTech CS/IT or relevant domain.

Strong expertise in GCP data services (BigQuery, Data Flow, Pub/Sub, Airflow) and ETL tools (IBM DataStage or equivalent), plus experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/GitHub).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in leading large-scale cloud data migrations, particularly Mainframe to GCP considered a plus.

Proficient in designing scalable, reliable data orchestration using native GCP services with strong performance tuning skills.

Holds Professional GCP Data Engineer certification and familiar with Agile methodologies, indicating capability to work in evolving technical environments.
