Own end-to-end architecture, implementation, testing, release, and production support of complex Android application features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Modernize legacy Java Android codebases to Kotlin and promote adoption of modern Android engineering practices and architecture components.
Ensure mobile app reliability, performance, and scalability including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous process improvement incorporating AI-assisted development tools.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years experience developing Android apps with Kotlin.
Proficiency in Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Android architecture components, and legacy Java codebase modernization.
Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Espresso, Jetpack Test), CI/CD pipelines, Play Store release management, and familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior individual contributor comfortable leading complex Android development tasks independently with ownership end-to-end.
Experienced working in Agile teams, collaborating across product, design, backend, QA, and geographically distributed colleagues.
Familiar with integrating AI-assisted development tools into SDLC and mentoring junior engineers or third-party consultants.
