Python Gen AI Developer - Director - Lead Cybersecurity Engineering

Lead design, development, maintenance, and support of multi-tier Python applications focused on cybersecurity controls for AI and Generative AI technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product leads to translate complex business and technical requirements into secure, scalable solutions.

Accountable for testing, debugging, and ensuring deployment readiness including integration with cloud (Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

6+ years of relevant experience; 6-8 years specifically as an Application Developer working on Python-based, multi-tier applications.

Strong knowledge of GenAI architectures (e.g., transformers, LLMs like GPT) and familiarity with machine learning model training and evaluation.

Experience with OpenAI APIs, Azure Open AI, RESTful services, and open-source frameworks like PyTorch and LangChain.

Demonstrated expertise in secure coding practices, data privacy, adversarial attack vectors, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Microsoft Azure deployment, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Sonar).

Experienced in managing multiple functions or guiding junior staff, indicating leadership capacity at Director level.

Deep understanding of AI security enablement with hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity controls in AI/GenAI environments.

Operates effectively in Agile/Scrum environments delivering solutions using TDD/BDD with strong cross-team communication skills.
