Associcate Python Developer- Backend (Commercialization Technology)

Develop and enhance backend services and APIs primarily using Python, REST APIs, FastAPI or similar frameworks to support portfolio governance and enterprise applications.

Design, implement, and maintain data integrations and persistent data capabilities using PostgreSQL and other relational databases, ensuring data quality and transformations.

Collaborate across teams to translate functional requirements into reusable, secure backend solutions and support production through testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

2 to 4 years of relevant software or application development experience.

Hands-on experience with backend services development using Python and REST APIs, including database integration with PostgreSQL or similar SQL technologies.

Working knowledge of application security concepts and experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.

Experience working with enterprise integration platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, or comparable technologies in professional environments.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global, and virtual teams delivering backend services in complex technological ecosystems.

Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environments and experience supporting enterprise analytics and AI/agentic platforms preferred.
