Own end-to-end performance testing for Guidewire-based projects ensuring defined performance, scalability, and stability goals are met.
Design, develop, and execute various performance tests (load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability) including scenario design, metrics capture, and reporting.
Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and recommend tuning; collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to validate fixes and maintain all performance test artifacts.
Minimum Requirements
5-8 years total software QA experience with at least 3 years in performance testing of web or enterprise applications.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or equivalent; LoadRunner experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience interpreting performance metrics across application (JVM), database, and infrastructure layers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in performance testing within complex enterprise platforms, preferably with Guidewire applications or similar mission-critical systems.
Able to analyze and troubleshoot complex performance issues using APM/monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, AppDynamics).
Comfortable working in cross-functional, distributed teams and collaborating closely with development, QA, and cloud/DevOps teams.
