IT Application Owner ( ITAO), AVP

Own operational stability, availability, and governance of 3-4 critical banking applications across production and non-production environments.

Coordinate incident, problem, change, and release management with engineering, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure compliance with technology policies, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor application risks and remediation activities including vulnerability management, disaster recovery testing, audit readiness, and lifecycle management, while preparing governance reports for stakeholders.

5-8 years of experience in IT Application Ownership, Application Support, Production Management, Software Development, or related technology roles.

Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.

Technical knowledge in REST APIs, Linux/Unix platforms, databases, middleware, cloud technologies, and familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD concepts.

Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence and a strong understanding of Information Security, Vulnerability Management, Access Management, and Technology Risk controls.

Experience managing multiple enterprise banking applications in a fast-paced, regulated environment with strong stakeholder management skills.

Proven track record in governance, operational excellence, and risk management within application ownership roles involving cross-functional collaboration.

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools responsibly to optimize workflows and solve business problems alongside technical and communication skills.
