Engineering & Delivery Lead - Data Services

Own end-to-end technical delivery, architectural alignment, and global engineering execution for strategic Data Services platforms including modernization and scaling initiatives.

Manage and directly lead distributed agile engineering teams, responsible for hiring, talent development, performance evaluations, and sprint execution.

Drive adoption of generative AI tools to accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, and enforce rigorous engineering standards and compliance across teams.

12-15+ years of software/data engineering experience in large-scale, highly regulated environments, preferably financial services.

5+ years of engineering line management experience overseeing distributed software/data engineering teams.

Must have hands-on expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate), relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB), AI-first developer tools, secure API/microservices development, and CI/CD with container orchestration.

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Pune, India. Educational qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering field.

Experienced senior engineering leader comfortable managing multi-location agile teams with accountability for technical delivery and people management.

Strong background in large-scale data platform engineering within regulated industries, with a hands-on approach to architecture, code quality, and compliance requirements.

Proven capability to integrate and champion AI-assisted development tools and modern DevOps practices to improve software delivery velocity and quality.
