Software Engineer - Backend (5-7) YOE, Core

Design, develop, and maintain robust, highly scalable distributed backend systems with a focus on architectural abstractions and performance optimization.

Lead medium-sized projects including system design, high-level problem solving, and driving architectural evolution with impact analysis.

Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure predictable delivery.

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field (B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D. or equivalent).

5 to 7 years of professional experience in software engineering with proven large-scale problem-solving track record.

Strong programming skills in at least one general-purpose language (Java, C, C++).

Experience in multi-threading/concurrent programming, OOD, design patterns, scalable systems, and familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.

Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments with high ownership levels.

Proven ability to lead technical projects end-to-end, including architectural design, performance tuning, and stakeholder collaboration.

Demonstrated mentorship skills and capability to foster engineering excellence within teams.
