Principal Storage Software Engineer

Architect, design, develop, and own highly scalable block, file, object, and database-aware storage platforms running in Kubernetes environments.

Lead technical direction and evolution of storage systems, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, replication, and optimized performance.

Hands-on coding, debugging, architecture design, and mentoring engineers while operating across storage, databases, Kubernetes, networking, and infrastructure domains.

15+ years of software engineering experience in storage, distributed systems, databases, or infrastructure software.

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Strong systems programming skills in C++, Go, Rust, or Java.

Experience with Kubernetes-native storage integrations and distributed storage technologies (e.g., NVMe, S3, CSI) and strong understanding of Linux storage and I/O architecture.

Senior technical leader capable of defining and executing long-term architecture for large-scale, reliable storage platforms.

Hands-on engineer comfortable with full lifecycle: design, coding, performance analysis, debugging, and mentorship.

Experienced in building and operating cloud-native distributed storage systems optimized for databases and Kubernetes workloads.
