Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer - Remote

Own and improve production machine learning models for churn, retention, and account segmentation using customer and business data.

Investigate incorrect predictions by analyzing errors account by account and implement fixes for data leakage, labels, or features.

Ship model improvements directly into a Go product codebase and automate model evaluation workflows for recall and quality monitoring.

Minimum 5 years of applied machine learning experience with structured business data in production.

Strong mathematical and statistical background; preference for candidates from IIT or similarly rigorous programs.

Must have experience owning production models used for business decisions like churn, retention, or segmentation.

Currently working at a product-based organization; strong SQL and ability to ship code inside a product codebase using Go; Python used only for analysis.

Experienced in handling messy CRM and product-usage data with thorough knowledge of classification metrics and time-based model evaluation.

Capable of explaining model performance and prediction errors clearly to non-ML technical stakeholders and customers.

Operates effectively in a product environment collaborating with backend engineers and independently drives unclear problems to solution.
