Own end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and support of complex IBM DataStage ETL/ELT solutions and enterprise data pipelines.
Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical data solutions including Snowflake pipelines and AI use cases.
Design data models, define source-to-target mappings, and ensure performance, scalability, and security for mission-critical data integrations across multiple systems and platforms.
Minimum Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage 11.7 or above including parallel jobs, administration, and performance tuning.
Advanced SQL and PL/SQL with experience in Oracle and DB2 environments.
Experience integrating multiple source and target systems including Oracle, DB2, Snowflake, flat files, and cloud storage using DataStage.
Work Experience Required: 6+ years in data engineering roles involving IBM DataStage and ETL development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building scalable data pipelines and reusable ETL frameworks using DataStage and related technologies.
Comfortable working in a collaborative Agile environment engaging with business and technology teams to deliver enterprise data integration solutions.
Strong expertise supporting data warehouse, data lake, and Lakehouse platforms with knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Airflow/Astronomer, Unix Shell scripting, and handling semi/unstructured data sources.
