Buyer I

Manage purchasing of materials, supplies, machinery, and services for manufacturing facilities, focusing on procurements below defined spend thresholds.

Support supplier negotiations, delivery scheduling, inventory monitoring, and procurement documentation to ensure timely availability and cost optimization.

Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Accounting, and Supply Chain teams to maintain inventory levels, resolve discrepancies, and recommend new suppliers.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electronics Engineering.

0–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.

Proficiency or familiarity with SAP, Ariba, MS Office, Tableau, RPA (not necessarily expert).

Willingness to travel up to 10%; position located in Bangalore, India.

Early-career procurement professional comfortable handling routine purchasing with guidance and structured processes.

Operates well within established procurement procedures and collaborates effectively across cross-functional teams.

Capable of managing non-strategic suppliers and budgeting thresholds with attention to cost, quality, and delivery priorities.
