Software Asset Analyst II

Manage complex software asset requests including unlisted software triage, renewals, true-ups, and contract event management with accuracy in intake gating and milestone deliverables.

Handle M&A software integration tasks such as inventory tracking, normalization of vendor data, and execution of privacy-controlled post-close terminations.

Configure and audit automated license reclamation processes, run license audits, record realized savings, and mentor Level I associates on gating and judgment.

3-7+ years in software asset management, software licensing operations, or software procurement.

Demonstrated practical knowledge of software licensing models covering SaaS, installed device, cloud-hosted, floating, and consumable-credit software.

Must be available to work one of three IST-anchored shifts including NAMER window (22:00–06:00 IST).

Work Experience Required: 3-7+ years in relevant domains.

Experienced in renewal and true-up processes with ability to build license positions from usage data and apply commercial workflows.

Demonstrated strong gating judgment skills to escalate or stop high-risk/unusual requests, maintaining strict ticket and data discipline for audit readiness.

Comfortable with automation and scripting for license reclamation, M&A integration, SAP Materials Management, and three-way matching tasks.
