Associate Engineering Director

Lead a multi-team (40+ engineers) software organization delivering medical device software across web, mobile, desktop, and cloud platforms.

Own end-to-end delivery including resource planning, multi-project prioritization, risk management, and executive reporting for your operating unit.

Set technical and architectural direction, build leadership pipeline, partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Program Management on multi-year roadmaps, and establish sustainable product development practices.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

18+ years of relevant software product development experience in a global team environment.

8+ years of people management experience including 2+ years managing multiple teams simultaneously.

Deep understanding of full stack enterprise application development and Verification & Validation strategy including automated verification.

Experienced in leading complex software engineering organizations within regulated industries such as medical devices, with strong financial and project management acumen.

Able to influence and operate within a global matrix organization, balancing technical leadership with organizational strategy.

Proven track record of developing and retaining engineering talent, driving organizational and continuous process improvements, and managing large-scale software delivery in fast-paced R&D environments.
