Serve as senior escalation and technical authority for complex incidents across application, infrastructure, network, and third-party dependencies.
Own and continuously improve the end-to-end observability architecture and strategy in Datadog, including monitoring standards, SLOs, dashboards, and automation.
Lead root cause analysis for major incidents, mentor junior engineers, manage platform performance, and engage with cross-functional teams and clients to enhance operational resilience.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years in Managed Services, SRE, or platform engineering with at least 3 years hands-on Datadog observability platform ownership.
Expert-level knowledge of Datadog platform architecture, APM, synthetics, log management, and advanced alerting with strong infrastructure, cloud, and networking understanding.
Experience leading incident and problem management including major incident command and post-incident reviews.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
