Lead technical architecture and roadmap development for scalable, resilient Java/Spring Boot microservices and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Drive software delivery lifecycle practices including development, testing (TDD), CI/CD, security integration, observability, and production support.
Provide hands-on coding, conduct code and architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with global teams to support Contact Center and CRM applications.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise Java backend services with Spring Boot.
3+ years practical experience with public cloud platforms, strongly preferred GCP, including services like Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Memorystore/Redis.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology, MCA, or equivalent relevant education/professional experience.
Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito), CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform), and API management platforms like Apigee.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong Java engineering background combined with cloud architecture expertise, particularly on GCP, able to guide complex technical decisions and design distributed, scalable systems.
Experienced in formal software engineering practices including XP, pair programming, Test-Driven Development, and security-integrated DevSecOps processes.
Skilled at mentoring engineers, conducting technical discovery against business requirements, and working with globally distributed teams on customer-facing digital platforms.
