Validate software, firmware, and hardware of embedded systems ensuring functionality and performance compliance.
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases, including creation of automated test sequences using Python/NodeJS.
Set up and operate test environments with equipment like oscilloscopes and test infrastructure tools such as LabView/National Instruments/PXI, collaborating cross-functionally to define acceptance criteria and improve testing processes.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or STEM major.
5-8 years of technical experience testing and/or developing embedded systems products.
Strong hands-on experience with embedded system hardware testing equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters) and programming in Python/NodeJS.
Familiarity with network protocols (Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP, MQTT, gRPC) and industrial protocols like Modbus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced with embedded systems testing in complex hardware-software integrated environments, including lab instrumentation and automation tools.
Capable of driving standardized testing processes and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to define quality criteria and troubleshoot system issues.
Skilled in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with proficiency in scripting for automation and understanding of software development lifecycle and business product approaches.
