Kafka Senior Engineer - Officer

Lead design, engineering, and implementation of enterprise Kafka messaging infrastructure, including first Kafka Cluster on Public Cloud using Ansible, Terraform, and Python.

Automate Kafka platform tasks such as request processing, monitoring, alerting, and reporting, and develop Kafka producer/consumer code and connectors for integration.

Provide technical leadership, support production services, optimize Kafka performance, design monitoring solutions, and collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for high availability and scalability.

Experience Required: 8+ years preferred but not mandatory depending on candidate.

Must be willing to work from office in Bangalore or Hyderabad with no hybrid option; candidates unwilling to relocate will not be considered.

Hands-on experience with Kafka messaging technology and knowledge of Linux (Red Hat), coding/programming skills in any scripting language with willingness to learn Python, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Shell.

Experience with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for middleware/platforms is required.

Experienced in leading complex Kafka infrastructure projects, including cloud deployments using automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python).

Demonstrated capability to support production environments, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot Kafka and application issues.

Strong collaboration skills for working with enterprise architecture, application development, and infrastructure teams to deliver resilient and scalable messaging systems.
