Embedded Software Technical Lead

Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of real-time firmware modules for high-speed heterogeneous SoC platforms.

Own execution of firmware module delivery from requirements, design, bring-up, validation to release within agreed architecture and project plans, under Firmware Lead direction.

Mentor engineers, drive debugging and integration, conduct design/code reviews, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for firmware quality and release.

10+ years experience in real-time embedded C/C++ firmware development with at least 2 years technical leadership on firmware modules or projects.

Strong experience with embedded SoC, RTOS environments, and RTOS porting/integration (Zephyr, FreeRTOS or equivalent).

Hands-on firmware development for RISC-V (RV32/RV64) architectures including trap handling, CSR access, and toolchain setup.

Proficiency in low-level drivers, bootloaders, secure boot, firmware update flows, and debugging tools like JTAG.

Experienced in leading firmware execution while remaining hands-on in coding and debugging on heterogeneous SoC platforms.

Skilled in cross-functional coordination aligning implementation with system architecture and project plans under overall firmware leadership.

Familiar with hardware/software bring-up, root-cause analysis, embedded RTOS integration, and mentoring within complex engineering teams.
