Group Manager Payments Engineering Manager – Intelligent Automation

Lead and manage a team of software engineers to develop and deliver AI-enabled intelligent automation solutions for Payments Operations and Client Servicing.

Own end-to-end engineering processes including architecture, design, development, deployment, and operational excellence for scalable Generative AI, LLM, AI agents, workflow automation, and cloud-native platforms.

Collaborate with Payments Operations, Product, Architecture, and Technology teams to identify automation opportunities and translate into scalable software solutions aligned with strategic business priorities.

15+ years of software engineering experience delivering large-scale enterprise distributed systems.

5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, including globally distributed teams.

Proven hands-on expertise with Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI automation technologies in production environments.

Strong technical skills in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architecture (Kafka), cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and modern DevOps practices.

Experienced leader able to combine hands-on technical expertise with effective engineering management in AI-enabled payment automation domains.

Familiarity with AI architecture patterns including RAG, orchestration, AI agents, and human-in-the-loop workflows to drive complex operational improvements.

Comfortable operating at strategic and technical levels, influencing senior stakeholders in highly regulated financial services environments.
