Administer and optimize Atlassian Jira Cloud environments including configuration of projects, workflows, permissions, and integrations to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency.
Design and maintain Jira Cloud workflows, automations, and integrations with tools such as Confluence, Slack, MS Teams, and CI/CD platforms across global, enterprise-scale environments.
Ensure platform governance, compliance, security, and provide user support, documentation, training, and change management for Jira Cloud enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years experience administering or engineering Atlassian Jira with significant exposure to Jira Cloud, total 5-7 years professional experience.
Experience supporting large, complex, multi-team enterprise environments, preferably global.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with platform governance, security compliance, workflow configuration, integration APIs mandatory; experience in pharma/life sciences and cloud platforms preferred but not strictly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced enterprise Jira Cloud engineer skilled at translating stakeholder requirements into scalable platform solutions in complex, regulated environments.
Proficient with integrations across collaboration and ITSM tools and comfortable working with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Familiar with implementing and maintaining governance, compliance frameworks, and automating workflows using Jira Cloud in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or life sciences.
