Engineer, Principal - Project Engineer for Linux IOT

Lead end-to-end delivery of large Linux-based IoT projects including software conceptualization to product commercialization.

Collaborate with engineering, product marketing, business, and customer engineering teams to drive project execution from pre-silicon to commercialization for new SoCs.

Perform hands-on debugging and resolution of complex issues in embedded systems involving Linux, Android, kernel, drivers, and chipset architecture.

Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years software engineering experience OR Master's with 7+ years OR PhD with 6+ years.

Minimum 4 years programming experience in C, C++, Java, Python or similar languages.

Proven experience in Linux development with strong knowledge of Yocto, Ubuntu, Debian, Linux kernel, and system internals.

Strong understanding of SoC architecture, bring-up, multimedia subsystems (Camera, Video, Audio, Display, Graphics), and experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Experienced in managing complex embedded Linux IoT projects with cross-functional engineering and business teams.

Technical expert comfortable with low-level system architecture, kernel development, device drivers, and chipset software stacks.

Demonstrates strong ownership over software development lifecycle including design, implementation, debugging, deployment, and support in embedded Linux environments.
